I grew up in Mesa, Arizona playing ice hockey. I traveled all over the country and Canada for 10 years doing that since I was 6 years old. Skateboarding was always a huge part of my life. Arizona has the best skate scene. I started riding an old AMF cruiser around because I hated paying for gas. But the slowness of that got boring quick. A BMX friend got me into fixed gears on request of a faster bike with no gears. The first ride on that September afternoon changed my life. I have been riding almost every day since. A few months later I moved to Seattle, WA for photography school. I attended the monthly event FAST FRIDAY and saw it was more than just a fun bike event. There were friends to be made. I still ride with all the same friends I made those Friday nights. Those friends make up the Seattle Revival crew. The rest is history. And timing is everything.
